Painted plein air at the beautiful La Dolce Vita Farms near Jones, Oklahoma. I was up before light to start this painting and as soon as the sun began to add a hint of color to the sky, I was ready with all my paints laid out and the canvas prepared. However, about 30 minutes in to the painting, when the light was better, I realized I was painting on the back side of the canvas! Had to restart, but good discipline!
